Privacy Policy

Introduction
Welcome to Digital Event Games (“DEG,” “we,” “us,” “our”). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you visit https://www.digitaleventgames.com (the “Website”), contact us, purchase our services, or participate in interactive experiences we host for clients (the “Services”).
Roles matter: For our Website, sales, and support, DEG acts as a controller/business. When we operate event activations (e.g., prize wheels, photo/trading-card experiences) for a client, we act as that client’s processor/service provider and handle data per their instructions.
1. Information We Collect
A. Information You Provide
-
Contact forms / inquiries: name, email, phone, message content, and files you upload (e.g., brand assets).
-
Newsletter/marketing opt-ins: email and communication preferences.
-
Accounts/orders (if enabled): name, email, billing details, and order metadata (payment cards processed by our processor; see Payments below).
-
Comments (if enabled): comment content, plus anti-spam data such as IP and user agent.
B. Information Collected Automatically
-
Log and device data: IP address, browser, OS, referral URLs, pages viewed, timestamps, approximate location (derived from IP).
-
Cookies & similar tech: We use cookies, local storage, and tags for site functionality, analytics, and (if enabled) advertising/retargeting. Manage choices via Cookie Settings and see our Cookie Policy.
C. Event Activations (client campaigns)
When you engage with an activation we host for a brand/agency:
-
Lead capture fields chosen by the client (e.g., name, email, phone, company, role, consent checkboxes).
-
Gameplay/interaction logs: spin attempts, prize outcomes, timestamps, device/browser, IP, anti-fraud signals.
-
Images/video (if the activation captures media): used to apply visual effects (e.g., background removal, templating); not used to identify you or train models unless explicitly stated.
D. Sensitive Data
We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories (e.g., government IDs, health). For photo experiences, facial images are processed only to deliver the requested effect—not for biometric identification.
2. How We Use Information

Operate, maintain, and secure the Website and Services.
-
Respond to inquiries and provide customer support.
-
Process orders and perform contracts.
-
Send administrative messages and (if you opt in or as allowed by law) marketing communications; unsubscribe any time.

Legal bases (EEA/UK): performance of a contract; legitimate interests (e.g., site security, product improvement, B2B marketing); consent (e.g., non-essential cookies, email marketing where required); and legal obligations.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal data for money. We may share with:

5. Payments
Payments are processed by our third-party provider (e.g., Stripe). We receive limited transaction metadata and do not store full card numbers. Refer to the payment processor’s privacy policy for details.
6. Data Retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above, legal requirements, and dispute resolution. Defaults:

11. Controller/Processor Details for Client Activations
When we host an activation for a client, that client is the controller/business for participant data; DEG is the processor/service provider and processes data only under the client’s instructions and our data processing terms. Participants should direct privacy requests to the sponsoring client; we will assist them in responding.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new “Last Updated” date and take additional steps if required by law.
